I ran into this problem with my new v2 installation too - see: QuotaExceededError on tablet - #3 by OpinionatedGeek

Unfortunately it means that v2 just plain doesn’t work on my phone or my tablet, and I really miss it!

I’ve avoided LogSeq in the past because - for my simple needs - I don’t really want the problems of file system access and syncing. Is v2 going that direction now too?

Yeah, I readed it. And is sad, because I loved Silverbullet when I saw it first time, it’s simple an elegant, and probably will take some time to reach the limits on my side, but knowing this limits exists, I don’t want to be thinking everyday what I will do when I reach that limits.

Thought about looking into that after somebody else mentioned it some time ago and it would be kind of cool, because we could distribute SB just over the web - people could install it as a pwa (firefox still has no support for pwas, at least I haven’t seen it, although it was announced) and use it, BUT it’s basically chromium only and it’s not coming to any other browser soon probably, most notably firefox. Which is a big detergent for me. Also unsure how big of a change that would be. If we just end up with offline mode again it’s probably useless.

(I really really hate Mozilla on that front, but google is even worse so what is one gonna do? wait for ladybird?)

I’m actually using firefox pwa and it works. I do believe it will be available in a long time.

I’m also using the PWAs for Firefox plugin on desktop and it’s been working well so far, though my space is not large at all so I haven’t run into any issues with storage yet. I think Firefox on Android does actually have support for PWAs as referenced in this thread, but I’m not using them on my phone because my launcher isn’t compatible with them. I’m hoping that Mozilla will eventually catch up with by-default PWA support regardless.
