Getting plugs to work in RO mode

I’m using a read-only mode instance as a site to share some of my notes, and I’m having trouble getting plugs such as mermaid or katex to work.

I have them configured in the PLUGS page, and they are working on my read-write instance, but on the read-only instance the plugs are never activated.

I can see from the console that the “core” plugs like editor,emoji,query,etc. are being activated, but not the ones from PLUGS. Is there any way for me add to the list of plugs that are activated on read-only, or is this a hard limitation at the moment?

Katex works perfectly fine for me in read only mode

They should all work, but since you cannot run Plugs: Update in RO mode, you have to make sure that the .plug.js files are already present in your space under _plug. Do you have that set up?

creating and adding the .plug.js files manually was what I needed. All my plugs are working now, thanks!
