I’m using logseq for pkm and I love the “just open and dump thoughts” journal method with tags and easy links, but I don’t like having to sync all my notes in plain text on my work computer. I like that this doesn’t happen with sb!
I can’t figure out how to enable journal “go to today” shortcut. I saw a post about the journal being at Journal but I just get an empty page with the heading. I thought it might be I need to install from that so I went to library:manage and then add via URL, but it didn’t like this one.
Is there an out the box journal story or is that more of a script thing? Thanks
You don’t need anything special (the link refers to outdated documentation) just create a Quick note (shortcut is: Alt-Shift-n, by default), rename it to what suits you, for example: “Journal/December/13” stick to that pattern and you’ll find all your notes in the Journal folder in your SilverBullet space. (a space in SilverBullet is the equivalent of a graph in Logseq)
Now, you most probably want to customize/automate the process, the core documentation for your use case is here: Page Templates also look up the query lua directives, nothing crazy, once you get a sound taste of the general context.
Of course if you have a need for guidance, just ask
