Hi,
I am currently migrating from Logseq to Silverbullet 2.11.
After having copied all markdown files to a separate space, it took a couple of minutes, and then was ready to go. Same for SilverSearch, which needed to index files.
Now one major pain point is, that the whole re-sync and re-index is triggered again for either one of
- Logging out
- Session/cookie expires
I personally don't have need for multiple users (only default admin and my user account). But since single-space seems legacy, I kept default multi-user space.
Logging out can be avoided by using separate private browsing window for admin. But for session duration apparently there is a hardcoded max value => re-sync and re-index every 7 days? In single-space there was an environment variable SB_REMEMBER_ME_HOURS.
So what is the recommended solution - maybe enabling public access for this space (does that infinitely keep the browser cache/local storage/indexb)? Or does it make sense to re-introduce SB_REMEMBER_ME_HOURS for multi-space?
Thanks a lot.
EDIT: Reading SilverBullet 2.10 released: Enter the MultiSpace - #13 by zef , SB_REMEMBER_ME_HOURS seems to have been re-added. So these are stable and not legacy? Maybe it would be a good idea to clarify that in Configuration as well.
