Send Silverbullet Page to Jira

I just posted on the Discord Server.

I use Silverbullet to start any Jira/Confluence doc at work. To streamline the process, I created a shell script, allowing me on the CLI of the host I am running Silverbullet to quickly send > jira myfilename.md files to Jira and then print the URL with a Ticket number.
Here is the question: is there any way I can do something similar from within Silverbullet? I assume it will be an action, but I do not know where to start. And I guess running shell scripts on the host through Silverbullet is a security nightmare?

@zeff suggested I look at System Calls to run the shell script.
@sicore suggested Space Script.

I am reading through how this would be implemented, but any advice would be welcome.
