There is a setting for that

Thank you and sorry, perhaps I wasn't clear.

I saw that setting but it is about new links created which isn't quite what I meant.

Let me try again with an example of my complaint: If I make a Page /Subdir/Test, and then in another Page (let's say /Example) I start typing a link `[[Test`, that option (when set to full-path) makes the autocomplete become `[[Subdir/Test]]` which is amazing and just what I want for creating links!

However! If I make a link to `[[Test]]` (by ignoring auto complete or manually editing the auto completed link or using another editor), and I don't have a /Test file, this new behavior will make said `[[Test]]` link navigate to /Subdir/Test, rather than to create /Test. That's the Obsidian behavior I dislike and that I wish could be disabled with a similar option to resolve links so they are relative to the current page or to the space root, rather than digging into random subdirectories to find a matching page.

I hope this makes sense.
