Access SilverBullet while offline

Hello there,
I’ve been using Silverbullet for a while now. And while I really like the concept, I wasnt able to correctly setup offline mode on my devices:

I would like to be able to access my Silverbullet instance even though I am offline when I want to access it. As of now, I always needed to be online, start my browser (or the PWA on my iPhone), switch to sync mode and then I would be able to turn off my internet connection.

Not being able to access it when I am already offline in the first place makes me want to use it much less, because it doesnt feel as reliable.

Is there a way/program that just uses the cache of a website if it is not accessible from the internet?

What about client mode doesn’t work for you? It’s made exactly so you can use SB without an internet connection.

For this to work you have run over HTTPS. Service workers and offline functionality don’t work over HTTP. Are you doing that?

No, I am not, but will give it a try!
Currently I have it local network exclusively, because I dont trust the password mechanism enough :see_no_evil:

Trying out to set it up with HTTPS and a reverse proxy was a breeze thanks to this guide: Set up SilverBullet on Apache server with reverse proxy

Now it just works. Thanks a lot for the quick help
