it was without sync, it was just opening a folder.
But as i mentioned in my update, maybe, and i think probably, the google drive daemon was down and the space was not in my harddrive mounted. I am saying this because i could see the silverbullet folder in Drive (i first killed the daemon, if it was running, just to avoid syncing). But Drive syncs every minute so i don't know if i was very fast, or it was just not mounted and the reason i still have my space in Drive.
Let's forget that this happened as it may have been on my end. I will mount more spaces and test this several times
I use Octarine, a markdown editor, and it has unsigned .exe files for windows. It just shows a little popup before downloading explaining that you get a warning and I never heard anyone complain about it in the discord.
I have Windows version working (you can get a preview download from the downloads page under the âedgeâ section). Havenât fully tested it yet, but basics should work.
It works on Windows. At first I got a bit of a scare because when I first connected to an existing Space, the Space didnât show upâinstead, a default one did. And I actually thought everything had been deleted because I ended up in the wrong folder in File Explorer. But the existing Space is still there and working, and nothing was deleted.
What I see: not supported file types arenât displayed. For example, if you install "Document Explorer", you can click on other files (txt, json, yaml, adoc, PDF, etc.) in the web app, and theyâll open in a second browser window. This doesnât work in the app; no additional window opens. So now the question is, how and where can you find plugins that can display such content directly in SilverBullet? Iâve already found a PDF viewer: Library/mrmugame/Silverbullet-PDF
Hi, Zef. I would really like to support on the silverbullet + initiative.
What I can see that's missing from the current SilverBullet Plus is the authentication. I can understand and also enjoy the simple authentication SilverBullet previously had because it was purely just a PWA. However, when you want to connect via a desktop client, you inevitably have to allow for multi-user support or, more importantly, at least OAuth authentication externally.
Since I am not currently relying on SilverBullet's internal simple authentication and instead use an external authentication, the ability to connect to my server and use that authentication is very crucial for me to make use of the SilverBullet Plus app on a daily basis.
Overall, I think this is a great chance that could possibly let you be financially more motivated on SilverBullet, and I am really looking forward to having that happen!
