I noticed everyone seemed a bit too relaxed and focused lately, so I decided to “fix” that
Introducing the Floating Pomodoro Clock, a lightweight, persistent, and slightly clingy timer designed to ensure you never forget exactly how many minutes of your life are slipping away.
Why do you need this?
You probably don’t. But for those of us who enjoy being governed by a digital circle, this is for you.
Features
Persistent State: Refreshing your page won’t save you. The clock remembers if you were working or slacking off.
The clock can disappear from sight while still counting down in the void. If it finishes while hidden, it will manifest itself back into reality to let you know it’s break time.
Snappy UI: Drag it, snap it to the edges, or hide it. It respects your screen real estate.
Customizable: Adjust your focus and break intervals via the config, because 25 minutes is an eternity for some and a blink for others.
While I don’t a use case for much of what you build, I have to say I’m continually impressed in the type of stuff you’re able to put together Sometimes I think if we should simply rebrand SilverBullet to be a “life OS” since you’re adding so much stuff that all you ever need in life is an SB instance
Well, thank you, Sir! Honestly, the possibilities are endless. I don’t even use 100% of my own tools. Some were created just to fill gaps for users coming from other systems, others were made for fun, and a few were to extend SB’s core features a bit further. Right now, the ones I use most and am proudest of are the Document Explorer, Advanced Panel Control & Windowing System, Floating Journal Calendar, and the Task Manager with Table Filtering and Sorting. Of course, there are also a few productivity shortcuts I use daily… but I won’t bore everyone with those.
What’s next? An anti-productivity widget, like games? Maybe we could use an NSE emulator to add some vintage classics to SB: Super Mario, or good old Nokia 3320 Snake… hmmm… hold my beer Just kidding… or am I?
