Hi there. I’m Julio.

Came upon silver bullet while searching for a self hosted alternative to my zettelkasten because I use windows and can’t use The Archive anymore, I know there’s zettlr but I don’t particularly like using it. I’m also not a fan of obsidian.

Anyway, yesterday I started to host it on my VPS which I know it’s not ideal but right now I can’t afford to host it with my own hardware.

I really like the look of it and how snappy it feels. I’ll keep using it for my zettelkasten needs. I know link as search functionality is not used but just wanted to leave it as a maybe request.

Oh and it would be great if this app could be available with pikapods or something like that.

Sure I can explain.

In The Archive or Zettlr of I have a note identified with 2025099001 and insert it on another note with [[2025099001]]. What actually happens when I tap on the link is that a search is triggered and all the notes having that text will populate the sidebar. The same thing happens with tags.

You can see how it works trying zettlr which is also open source and cross platform.
