Mouseover Page Preview / hover tooltip

I haven’t found anything in the forum or GH issues, so I thought I’d start a new thread.

I’ve never really used Obsidian, but one feature I’d like to see in SB is the mouseover page preview. A demo can be found on the help page of the said feature itself.

Motivation:
It’s not a must for me, but it would add convenience and save time, especially since you don’t have to open every page to see its content.

It should be limited to internal pages, and not random web pages.

Some use cases:

  • Each asset like server has a page, I can just hover the link to check the IP without opening a new link
  • I need a short reminder of what Anatidaephobia is and the preview could display a summary

Open questions:

  • Negative impact on mobile users?
  • Preview content: full preview, some preview section (declared or like first 10 lines), front matter
  • Scope/effort of implementation (not a coder)

Exactly what I meant, yeah. I have no idea how I missed this issue.

Any idea how much effort this would take to implement?
