Just upgraded to version 2.9.0 this weekend and it went fine. However this morning noticed that pages are not updating links after a rename. Anyone else?
When you say 2.0.0 do you actually mean that? Because that’s a pretty old release. The latest is 2.9.0.
If you mean 2.9, try to run Space: Reindex once, it could that for some reasons reindexing didn’t kick off. It’s required for the 2.9 upgrade.
Yes, sorry, typo on my part.
I think there might be two things going on:
- The reindex seems to resolve the problems I was having with previously saved pages.
- However (and not sure if this was my actual issue) if I create a link mention in page X to non-existent page Y, navigate to page Y and then change its name to Y' while its not yet saved as a tangible file things get...confused: X still refers to Y but has the contents saved after I'd named it Y'. So in the end the file exists under its old name.
It's possible too that I had a combination of the two because the changes I'd made to Y' got lost somehow, thinking maybe I was too eager to make changes before the reindex finished.
