In preparation for the winter season, I share this little low-tech SkiCam Gist with you
You can install it as library or be inspired by it.
It’s Simple but Effective:
- I added some Webcam URL’s together with a name and status into some data objects
- then displayed these as an image in a table
- this gives me a live feed of the current snow status of the nearby mountains.
- of course it’s limited, it’s not a video feed but it updates once when page/table loads, but the images sources doesn’t refresh that often either, so I don’t mind
