Toggle Task command also create a new one

I think it is a good idea so that Alt+t hotkey that toggles task checkbox also create a new one if it is not already a checkbox. Saves a lot of time as it takes time to type - [ ].

Also , I don’t know where should I ask such questions, I think it is really a FR for git repo, but I am not sure, I also have many questions that I can’t find in documentations. I just want to make sure to not post them in the wrong place.
And speaking of documentation , I like to help with that , this is a very interesting project for me, so as a not a developer I would like to help in anyway I can.

There is already a shortcut to turn text into a task (ctrl-q-t).

SpaceScript can create a custom command that combines both if that’s what you want.

Great, creating macros would be very nice, where can I find about these stuff?
Is there a way to customize the shortcuts for commands?
And what is (ctrl-q-t)? it this a key sequence or a typo?
