I’m want to make some tutorials/guides explaining how to set up HTTPS for your SilverBullet instance.
Since the correct guide depends heavily on how you run and access SilverBullet, I’d like to ask a few quick questions so I can prioritise the most relevant scenarios.
Do you even need these HTTPS tutorials?
- I don’t need the tutorials; my current setup works perfectly.
- I can set everything up on my own, thank you very much.
- What is HTTPS and why would I need it? HTTPS… what?

Do you have your own domain?
- I have my own domain / I’m willing to buy one for serving SilverBullet.
- I don’t have a domain and want free options, such as using
*.duckdns.org,*.ipv64.net, etc. - I’m not sure what a domain is or why I would need one.
